World Peace

Everybody says they want world peace. Is it possible… maybe not. Is going to take more than just wanting it… absolutely. World peace isn’t just something you can ask for; it’s something you have to work for. Every human being’s mind functions differently putting different thoughts, ideas, problems, and solutions against everybody else’s. We need to accept each other’s different mindset because if we don’t, how are we supposed to do anything if we don’t have an open mind?Every one judges, criticizes, and argues over race, religion, back round and any flaw they can find to judge someone with. World peace wouldn’t just be finding peace within the world but finding peace within yourself and others.

World Peace is described as “an ideal of freedom, peace, and happiness among and within all nations and/or people.” I definitely agree with this. This sounds like the impossible, but it’s not. Everyone can make a choice, but it won’t always be heard. But these choices and decisions can be seen and spread so that this world can finally make a choice and become a family and help one another.

Countries are in debt, without food, full of hated races, filled with terrorism, and the worst possible things you can think of. Our country at this moment is over seventeen trillion dollars in debt. Kids in Southern African are lucky to stay alive the first fifteen years of their life due to starvation. China, North Korea, and Africa are looked down upon due to their race, way of governing, or leaders. Countries are sending out troops to fight till their death. All these awful things can be stopped but we need to join forces and start spreading the word.

Holding a grudge is one of the many things nations can be known for; I know I am known for that. Someone once told me “Holding a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.” With that I realized we can’t hold onto the past. We have to live on with our lives, make new decisions, and start something new. History has had its up and downs, but the past is the past and we create our future, we build off our dreams, our thoughts, and we do what we know is right.

There is too many complications to world peace and it can't just happen with the click of a finger. One person can not just make it happen. It takes countries to unite and come together as one.

10th Times a Charm?

10th times a charm? Last week my family adopted a dog and made it the 10th addition to the family. Her name is Sadie Ray Price. She is a black Shelty Shepherd. She is quiet and sweet and loves to cuddle and is 2 and a half months old.

We have three other dogs, a 13 year old chocolate lab (Rosie), and two 4 year old twin chihuahuas (Pumpkin and Tux). Pumpkin, one of the chihuahuas used to be the one who always got the attention, and now with Sadie getting all the attention Pumpkin finds his way to punish her. You probably won't believe me but one day Pumpkin peed on her. I guess you could take it two ways. One way, he is marking his territory for his love for Sadie or the second way he just hates her.

Sadie, also being very young doesn't know where and when to pee. Such as peeing all over my new comforter, or in my parents closet, or all over the kitchen floor, but she's so cute we just can't get mad at her.

Here is a picture of her falling asleep. Do you have any dogs?

Driving

Driving

I think 16 is the perfect age for getting a drivers license. Although I want to drive really bad right now, letting thirteen-year olds drive would be disastrous. I really want to drive so that I don't always have to ask my parents to take me somewhere. If I ever want a Starbucks or food my mom always says no. If I had a car and could drive I could do so many more things! Driving is also a hazardous thing so sixteen is a mature and good age.  When I drive, I want my first car to be a 2009 champagne Tahoe. It is safe, big, and has good mileage. What age do you think people should be when they get their license?
